Community Work
To develop your career in the field of Community Services, we offer courses to enable you to work with individuals with special needs, such as mental health issues, housing, youth work, domestic violence and child protection on an individual and group basis.
If you are already employed in a relevant occupation with practical experience, you will be able to specialise in areas ranging from community education through to employment services.
Disability
Diversity is a key part of today’s society and people with a disability are a typical part of that diversity. No matter what the disability, whether a child at home with their family, an adult in a residential setting or someone accessing community leisure and work opportunities, service providers consistently require a variety of qualified workers across a range of responsibilities.
Reward can be found as support workers in schools, residential and day settings or in a variety of other service industries, including leisure and recreation, case management and employment support, to name a few.
