Massage Skills for Healthcare Workers

• Do you work in disability, aged care or nursing areas?
• Would massage skills enhance your work and your workplace?

This course is available for existing healthcare workers in the community services and health sector to obtain additional skills for the workplace.

Outcome: Statement of Attainment.
Selected unit of competency from HLT40307 Certificate IV in Massage Therapy.
Provide Massage Treatments HLTREM406B.

When: Timetable to be discussed at the information session.
Where: Hobart Campus, 75 Campbell St, Hobart. Level 3, Natural Therapies Massage Area.
Fee: $50 Enrolment fee.

An information session will be held:
When: Tues 1 April, 6pm.
Where: Hobart Campus, 75 Campbell St, Hobart. Level 4, Theaterette.

NB: A selection process requiring resume and interview may apply. This training is partially subsidised by Skills Tasmania.

Student Naturopathic Clinic

The Student Naturopathic Clinic is located at 75 Campbell Street, Hobart.

Consultations in a supervised and confidential environment are available with final year students of :

• Herbal Medicine
• Nutritional/Lifestyle information
• Homoeopathy
• Iridology (we have an exciting new camera!)

Costs:
Initial Consultation (1 - 1.5 hours): $20 Concession $15
Follow up Consultation (30 minutes): $10

Herbs, supplements & remedites at affordable prices available from the on-campus dispensary.
