MYOB -
Short Courses
These are self-paced class times where MYOB can be studied
at an introductory, intermediate or advanced level. A trainer
is available to facilitate discussions and provide guidance.
A workbook is provided for use in the class and for future
reference.
These short courses are non-accredited MYOB computer training course and the participants will be awarded with an attendance certificate on successful completion of their training.
Specialist areas such as MYOB Payroll and MYOB with GST Transactions and BAS Statement are also available. These courses are available on request.
Introduction to Computerised Accounting/Bookkeeping
The Introduction to MYOB course is aimed
at people wanting to set up and use MYOB for small business
accounting. Topics covered in the course are:
- Set-up procedures;
- File management and error correction;
- Cash payments and cash receipts;
- Credit card sales and purchases;
- Bank reconciliation;
- End of period adjustments;
- Printing reports;
- Preparing a business activity statement.
The Intermediate MYOB course is aimed at
people who have completed the Introduction to MYOB course
or for people who already have experience using MYOB. This
course extends the knowledge and skills from the Introductory
course in:
- Card files;
- Inventory;
- Chequebook and sales command centres;
- GST,
and covers new areas such as:
- Job management;
- Time billing;
- Customising forms and reports;
- Exporting MYOB data to Microsoft Word and Excel applications.
The Advanced MYOB course is aimed at people
who have completed the Intermediate MYOB course or for people
who already have extensive experience using MYOB.
MYOB Payroll is a short course which deals
specifically with the Payroll component of MYOB. This course
is available on request.
MYOB with GST Transactions and BAS Statement.
This course is an introduction to using and setting up MYOB
for small business accounting and bookkeepers completion.
Text and learning materials are supplied, including MYOB Training
disk. This course is available on request in Launceston.
