These qualifications aim to provide quality vocational training for all employees in the baking industry. It can be delivered on-the-job and specific to the Industry's needs. It provides a qualification recognised throughout Australia and develops the career path for employees in the Industry. Training programs can be developed in consultation with TAFE Tasmania to suit the training requirements of enterprises and individuals.

Pre-Apprenticeship
- Bakery - Food Processing (Retail Baking) - Certificate I
This 4 week program is deigned to provide basic training and practical skills in bread making, pastry and cake making techniques. This course will provide you with the skills required to get a head start in gaining an apprenticeship.
Australian Apprenticeship
What is an Australian Apprenticeship?
An apprenticeship is an employment based training arrangement where an apprentice has the opportunity to combine practical experience in the workplace with structured training.

- Food Processing (Retail Baking) Combined - Certificate III
covers the fundamentals of bread, cake and pastry making.
- Food Processing (Plant Baking Bread) - Certificate III
covers the fundamentals of baking and is aimed at bread production.
- Food Processing (Retail Baking) Cake and Pastry - Certificate III
covers the fundamentals of baking and specialises in cakes and pastry making.
- Food Processing - (Retail Baking Bread) - Certificate III
covers the fundamentals of baking and specialises in bread making.
