These qualifications allow employees in the Meat Processing industry to acquire and apply competencies required for safe, effective work practices. They are also required to perform a range of competencies with due regard to health, safety, hygiene, quality and productivity.
Courses Available:
Pre-Apprenticeship
- Butchery - Meat Processing (Meat Retailing) - Certificate I
This 10 week program is designed to give intensive introductory training in the trade of Butchery (Meat Retailing). If participants successfully complete the program, they will be issued with the Certificate I in Meat Processing (Meat Retailing), which is equivalent to the first year of apprentice training.
Australian Apprenticeship
What is an Australian Apprenticeship?
An apprenticeship is an employment based training arrangement where an apprentice has the opportunity to combine practical experience in the workplace with structured training.
