All things electrical…

From the installation and maintenance of components to wiring, system and running – the electro technology industry is all things electrical. It covers electrical work, electronics, refrigeration and air conditioning, telecommunications, instrumentation (measuring all sorts of things electronically) and more.
With an electro-technology qualification there are a huge range of areas you can work in, for example:

  • Mining operations
  • Industry such as zinc refineries or paper mills
  • Domestic work on homes and apartment blocks
  • Commercial work in office buildings
  • Marine operations
  • System design using computers and high tech equipment.
