It is anticipated that many Councils employees, depending on their experience and 'in-house' training received, will already be competent in some units. Therefore, such people or their Councils should request assessment of their workplace skills for a Recognition of Current Competency award against one or more units in their chosen Local Government qualification.
Depending on demand, we will develop a workshop-based training program where gaps in competency exist.
