The Small Business Learning Team’s vision is to develop management skills within the small business community of Tasmania. Our training is designed to assist intending or existing proprietors of small businesses to manage an enterprise in a profitable and enduring way. We are happy to work with small business people from any industry. Remember the majority of small businesses that fail, fail due to lack of management skills.
You can choose to undertake training that meets a current skill need in your business on an accredited or non-accredited basis or complete a full Certificate IV in Business (Small Business Management) qualification. Assessment is not compulsory.
Whichever option you choose, the training will help maintain a healthy business and help you manage your business more efficiently.
We provide a training environment, designed to meet your needs, that includes:
- Workplace Training
- Individually supported home study
- Workshops
- Short duration courses
- User friendly printed learning materials
- On-line discussions and chat
- Individual support study through regional co-coordinators
- Affordable levies with pay-as-you-learn arrangements if required
