Fee Concessions

People receiving Centrelink allowances such as Newstart, Youth Allowance, a pension, Austudy or Abstudy, or dependants of a person receiving these allowances may be eligible for some concessions.

To claim a concession you must produce Centrelink evidence relevant to your benefit/allowance at the time of enrolment.

NB: learning materials such as text books, protective clothing etc. may need to be purchased and are not covered by concessions.

Contact Student Services for further details - see phone numbers below.

NB: There are a few commercial courses, such as Natural Therapies and some Hair and Beauty courses, that attract a higher fee and concessions are not available.

Refunds

A refund of fees will be made only to students who have not
participated in a module or competency for which they are
seeking a refund.

Students who have not commenced study will receive a refund
of the enrolment fee. The level of refund on the learning
materials will depend on their condition when returned.
Students who are enrolled in Off Campus/Open Learning modes of study are deemed to have commenced study after they have made contact with their designated teacher at least once after having received their learning materials. If a student has an outstanding debt in respect to another enrolment a refund will take the form of credit against the outstanding debt.
